One Hundred Acre Woods & Twilight Fields

Anyone who knows me knows all I want is a bit of adventure, and that I'm obsessed with The Twilight Saga.

So today when my family, our dog, and I stumbled upon a mini opening in a bush, I couldn't stop smiling.

Back to the beginning, we were just going on a walk for some exercise.

We found an opening in a bush and decided to go through and see where it went.

There was a mini footpath where others had quashed the grass before us, and leaves and flowers growing over it slowly.

It was the most magical place ever!

You know the places fairies should live? It was exactly that!

We found a few streams with bridges over them, so we could cross and had to climb over a few wooden stiles.

As someone who is extremely clumsy, I was sure I'd find a way to injure myself, thank gods I didn't.

But eventually, we came to a two-option path.

One way lead to the underneath of a dark bridge, which we could see graffiti all over, or we could go out and take a short road home.

Now, what fun would it be if we chose to go home? None at all, lucky us we were enjoying ourselves and went for the bridge.

Yes, we knew it was quite dark and you shouldn't really walk under dark bridges where no one can hear or see you, but I assure we made sure it was safe first.

Going under, my tummy was going tight, my anxiety rising, my sister's worries getting to be a tiny bit, but it was all apart of the experience.

Once we got out, we came across this beautiful meadow.

It had a mini trampled footpath and a huge tree in the middle.

My sister claims it looks like the tree from One Hundred Acre Woods, which I can agree on.

It was the most magical place ever.

Naturally, I ran straight for the tree and stood underneath.

I then realized as we were leaving to follow a new path, it looked like the fields from Twilight, which in my opinion was the best thing ever.

Slightly wishing the Cullen family had turned up, but sadly it's just a book.

Anyway, we followed a new path which leads to another wooden stile.

We climbed over again and found a gate, which would lead to a sheep field.

There were signs on the gate saying that we were free to walk through if we wished, which of course we did.

Our dog, being the playful thing he is, decided to try to play with the sheep.

Don't worry no sheep or cute doggies were hurt.

He kind of acted like a sheepdog and got all the sheep to group together from afar.

There were sheep poo everywhere so we couldn't exactly watch the sheep, but you could hear them.

At the other end, a gate leads to a road, which we followed, thankfully not getting hit by card, and ended up on top of a bridge over the main road.

My first thought was that this was the kind of thing people live for.

We stood on top of the bridge for a minute, my mum waving to trucks below.

We got a few honking their horns back, saying hello.

We found another mini field, connecting to where we started and headed home.

It was the adventure of a lifetime.

We're now back home, our dog falling asleep on my lap as I write this, my sister laying in the hammock and we're all exhausted.

All I've ever wanted was to have an epic adventure, and that's what I got!
