Today was challenging.

I had arranged to meet a friend at my local Starbucks.

I was looking forward to seeing my friend, having a bacon roll and a mango and passion fruit iced tea.

When I arrived, I got to the door and was overwhelmed by the ocean of people and the door felt like a brick wall.

Not to be deterred, we took a table and chairs and moved them outside so I could chat with my friend, eat my bacon roll and enjoy my iced tea.

I learnt from this, you may hit brick walls but it’s a finding a way around or over them.

I look forward to getting through more brick walls.

Today was challenging.

How do you cope when you hit a brick wall?
