Today, I reached a great achievement that took time and patience, but I got there.

I managed to get dressed.

Now to non-autistic people, this seems a minor achievement.

However, getting dressed can take a toll on anxiety levels depending on how much anxiety affects that person.

Not only did I get dressed, I also managed to leave the house for a great almost 2 hours!

My mum managed to convince me to go to Starbucks with her today.

It wasn't much of a challenge considering I love Starbucks.

Although, it is a weekend and was loud at some points.

These things aren't just achievements for me though, many other people will be going through similar things.

And to those people, who could possibly be reading this, you're not alone.

QUESTION:

How do you manage with leaving the house?
